Domaine des Chaffangeons, located in the commune of Fleurie in the Beaujolais Crus, has been in existence since 1955. The estate was created by Mr. Depardon, my grandfather, with 7ha of Fleurie. The estate was then taken over by my mother, until the 3rd generation arrived.
Since I took over, we've grown in terms of surface area, since we now work 16.5ha, but also in terms of appellation. Our production is mainly Fleurie (with various Fleurie cuvées), but we also produce Morgon, Moulin à Vent, Beaujolais Blanc and Crémant de Bourgogne. A sparkling rosé “La Bulle en Rose” and a sweet white wine “L'antidote” are registered as Vin de France.
We have a wide selection to satisfy all our current and future customers.
All our red wines are made from Gamay (red with white juice), and our white wines from Chardonnay. 30% of our grapes are harvested by hand, 70% by machine, between late August and early September, depending on the year.
